Ground vibration monitoring
Construction, piling, excavation, compaction, quarry and blasting-related vibration.
Motion made visible
Ground, construction, structural and machinery vibration measurement in Malaysia—from short diagnostic surveys to unattended monitoring.
Plan vibration monitoring ↗Measure the right response
Vibration is defined by more than amplitude. Frequency, direction, duration, sensor mounting and the relationship between source and receiving structure all affect interpretation. The measurement plan must reflect whether the concern is human perception, building response, equipment condition or project criteria.
S&V Teknik selects the measurement arrangement around the question being asked. This may include triaxial ground vibration monitoring, accelerometers, velocity transducers, event capture, time history, frequency analysis and coordinated noise monitoring.

Vibration FAQ
Peak particle velocity is a commonly reported vibration metric describing the maximum particle velocity during an event. The appropriate metric and assessment method depend on the source, receiver and applicable project requirements.
The sensor location and mounting should represent the response or transmission point relevant to the assessment. Poor mounting can distort the record, so installation details must be documented.
Yes. Coordinated monitoring helps correlate construction or industrial activities with both airborne noise and ground-borne vibration events.
